The North Point Government Primary School 70th Anniversary Exhibition Wall reimagines a campus corridor as a gallery of collective memory. Combining archival photography, LED-lit 3D typography, and a vivid purple gradient palette, the installation narrates seven decades of growth and achievement.
Through dynamic composition and educational storytelling, it not only celebrates the school’s legacy but also inspires a new generation of students to uphold its enduring spirit of unity and progress.

CONCEPT & DESIGN INTENT
Close collaboration with the school’s management and alumni was essential. Over 100 archival and event photographs were curated.
Construction was carefully scheduled to avoid disruption to daily classes, complying with school safety and fire regulations while ensuring precision in installation within a constrained corridor.
SPATIAL STRATEGY
The layout follows a dual-zone narrative:
A historical wall illustrating 70 years of milestones, student achievements, and performances.
A feature wall with 3D illuminated numbers “70 / 60”, signifying both legacy and continuity.
Color gradients of purple and pink echo the school’s celebratory tone while connecting to the outdoor courtyard through seamless visual flow.

MATERIALITY & DETAILING
Durable, low-maintenance surfaces were selected for longevity and clarity.
The 3D acrylic numerals with embedded LED light lines create depth and highlight each era’s imagery. UV-printed panels ensure vivid reproduction of archival photographs under various lighting conditions.


PROJECT GOALS & OUTCOMES
To create a permanent exhibition wall that preserves collective memories and visually expresses the spirit of “Together We Grow.”
The outcome is an uplifting, participatory installation appreciated by staff, students, and alumni, establishing a new cultural landmark within the school.
