KEB Hana Bank established its new 20,000 sq ft Hong Kong Branch office at the prestigious International Commerce Centre (ICC) in 2019.
The relocation from the Far East Finance Centre to ICC marked a significant milestone, reflecting the bank’s commitment to global standards and its role as a financial hub for the Korean community in Hong Kong. The project required stringent international-grade specifications in material selection, spatial planning, security infrastructure, and cost management, delivering a refined and technologically advanced workplace.

CONCEPT & DESIGN INTENT
The vision was to create a world-class banking office that aligned with KEB Hana Bank’s international image. The design needed to strike a balance between corporate formality and customer comfort, while integrating advanced security measures and high-tech communication facilities.

Reception & Customer Hall: A refined marble-clad entry zone with designated service counters and waiting areas, emphasizing transparency and professionalism.
Office Area: A large open-plan workspace to support efficiency, collaboration, and daily banking operations.
Meeting & Conference Rooms: Equipped with video conferencing and modern presentation systems for cross-border coordination.
Vault & Security Facilities: High-spec secure storage areas constructed with enhanced safety protocols.
Pantry & Staff Amenities: Bright, refreshing breakout spaces to promote staff wellbeing.
